“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
— Hebrews 12:1-2

Is Celebrate Recovery for me?

Each and every one of us has hurts, hang-ups, and habits that can hold us back from walking in the will of God. Celebrate Recovery is Christ-centered recovery. We all qualify for CR! Recovery is defined as a return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength. The theological term for recovery is sanctification. In this sin fallen world we are all being sanctified (in recovery) until the day that Christ Jesus returns! In Romans Chapter 3 it states that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Only 1/3 of the folks who come through CR are there for chemical addiction! Yes, it’s true! Codependent? Food issues? Drug or alcohol problems? Love and relationship addiction? If you have a hurt, hang-up, or habit that is keeping you from walking in step with the Father, then CR is for you! CR works because this ministry is focused solely on pointing others to hope, healing, and freedom found ONLY in Jesus Christ! We want others to have what we have found! We are just a group of imperfect people who have discovered and encountered a perfect love in Jesus Christ. D.T. Niles quotes it this way.... “Evangelism is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.”
